How Mojinami ships

Mojinami is run by Self Plus Inc. (株式会社セルフプラス) in Tokyo. Our store offers two kinds of products, and they are made and shipped in different ways. Each product page tells you which kind it is.

1. Designed in Tokyo, printed on demand

Our original designs are created in Tokyo. These items are printed on demand by our print partner after you place your order, and they ship from one of the partner's production facilities, which may be outside Japan.

Production usually takes about 2 to 7 business days, and can take longer in busy seasons.
Delivery time after production depends on your destination. See our Shipping Policy for approximate estimates.

2. Our curated craft collection, shipped by us from Tokyo

We are building a curated collection of Japanese craft goods, such as tenugui, furoshiki, chopsticks, small ceramics and washi paper goods. These items are bought from Japanese suppliers, kept in stock by us, and packed and shipped by our own team from Tokyo using Japan Post international services.

We aim to dispatch these items within approximately 2 to 5 business days after your order. Weekends and Japanese public holidays may add time.
Delivery by Japan Post usually takes approximately 1 to 3 weeks depending on your destination, and can take longer. These are estimates, not guarantees.
Where each item was made is stated on its product page, based on information from our supplier.

Orders with both kinds of products

If your order contains both kinds of products, they ship separately and may arrive on different days.

Shipping costs, tracking and customs

Shipping costs are calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.
We send tracking information when it is available for your shipping method.
Import duties, taxes or customs fees may apply in your country. Unless checkout shows them as included, they are paid by the recipient.
