Asanoha Pattern Bandana | Japanese Hemp Leaf Pattern
Asanoha (麻の葉, "hemp leaf") is a six pointed geometric star. Hemp grows tall and straight very fast, so the pattern became a wish for healthy growth and was a favourite for babies' and children's clothing. It is also said to ward off bad luck.
Indigo field, white lines, a framed border like a furoshiki and an original Mojinami crest in one corner.
