Shippo Furoshiki Style Tote Bag | Japanese Seven Treasures Pattern
Shippo (七宝, "seven treasures") is made of endlessly linked circles. Each circle touches its neighbours, so it stands for harmony, good relationships and connections that keep growing. The name comes from the seven treasures of Buddhist sutras, things more precious than gold.
We drew it like a furoshiki wrapping cloth: indigo, white rings and tiny vermilion flowers.
Furoshiki style print on a polyester tote; it is not a furoshiki cloth. Designed in Tokyo by Mojinami. Printed on demand, cut and sewn by our print partner; materials sourced from China.
