Yagasuri Pattern Apron | Japanese Arrow Feather Pattern
Yagasuri (矢絣) is a pattern of arrow feathers. A shot arrow never comes back, so it became a symbol of determination and of moving forward, and brides once took yagasuri kimono to their new home as a wish never to return. In purple and white it is the classic look of Meiji and Taishō era schoolgirls.
